Dr. Wendy N, Sanches, DC, CACCP is owner of Empowered Life, PC in Rincon. She is a very compassionate and caring individual. These qualities is what encouraged her into the Chiropractic world. Her passions are helping others learn how to better their state of health and wellbeing through Chiropractic adjustments and functional nutrition. Dr. Sanches is a graduate of Effingham County High School and graduated from Life University in Atlanta with a Bachelors in Science of Biology, Doctor of Chiropractic, and Master's in Sports Health Sciences with a concentration in Nutrition therapies. Dr. Sanches is passionate about supporting women in business and giving back to her community and EWIB allows her to act on these passions. In her free time, Dr. Sanches enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, going hiking, kayaking, beach days or anything else in nature.
Taylor's Tailored Jewelry - Owner
Taylor is a recent graduate of ECHS & attended college as a dual enrollment student. With her current career goal as a psychiatrist with her specialization yet to be determined. During the height of the pandemic, Taylor’s Tailored Jewelry was formed out of a hobby of jewelry making and wanting to bring joy and happiness to others. Making jewelry helps her relax and destress. When people experience stress, it is normal to feel depressed or down on your luck, and not uncommon for parts of their lives to start to unravel. Taylor's great passion is to help people who are going through a lot in this difficult time. She likes to help the people that order from her (including children, adults, and families), with pieces of her jewelry so that they can find a piece of safety and happiness in like she did with making the jewelry. She enjoys making unique pieces of jewelry as well as custom pieces to meet a customer’s desires and/or needs.

Donna was born and raised in Savannah, a graduate of Savannah High School. She has been married to her sweetheart, Zach for over 38 years. They have three sons who are now married and have given them grandchildren. Donna was a work from home mom who also homeschooled her boys for a time. Her & her husband have been in ministry for most of their married life so her business was the perfect fit for their family with the flexibility and freedom to work it around their busy lives. Now with Zach’s recent retirement, they will join forces even more, while really enjoying that freedom & flexibility.
Donna has owned her own business with Mary Kay for almost 20 years. She has been Advanced Certified for the past 9 years. She began using Mary Kay products because she loves the products & the results. Her favorite part is building relationships with new & familiar friends & helping them take time to pamper themselves & be the best version of themselves. She loves to shower her people with FREE products as they share the products & her with friends…that’s the Mary Kay way.
Donna has been a member of EWIB since its inception in 2007 and has served on our Board in numerous positions the most recent as Treasurer. She became a charter member as she had moved in the county in 2003 and was looking for ways to meet professional women. She has been involved in laying the foundation and ground work to establish a strong organization. Even as the organization has seen strong times and times of struggle, she has stayed the course & been a creative part of its’ development. Donna believes this is our organization and it will be what we put into it.
Dr. Jessica Futch, PT, DPT, Cert-DN, AIB-VRC owns Awaken Pelvic Physical Therapy. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Futch started her physical therapy adventure in 2011 after graduating with an Associate of Physical Therapy Assistant from South University. During this time, Dr. Futch quickly fell in love with physical therapy and returned to school through the Flex Doctorate program at the University of St. Augustine. During her doctorate program, Dr. Futch took additional studies in pelvic floor health and dry needling certification. Upon graduation, Dr. Futch created Awaken Pelvic Physical Therapy where she focuses on pelvic floor health and is passionate about helping women gain confidence and independence following childbirth. She enjoys helping all people through their journey in life. In her spare time, Dr. Futch loves to create homemade art, ranging from tumblers to epoxy ornaments. Dr. Futch joined Effingham Women In Business to help empower women in Effingham, Georgia, and to encourage these women to reach for their dreams.

Shana is the mother of two small children and the wife of a teacher/football coach. For the past 15 years she has worked as an accountant in the corporate world. In the past year, she decided to take a leap of faith and leave the corporate world, to open her own business, The Sassy Peach LLC. Owning her own business has given her the creative freedom to make t-shirts and other customized items to fit customers’ needs and wants while allowing her to be more present with her family. Her goal as an officer with EWIB is to bring as much attention to other local small businesses in the community. Everyone deserves to live their dream.

My name is Tiffany Steptoe, and I am the Co-Marketing director for our amazing organization. I am the wife of Shawn Steptoe, and we have four children and five grandcats. We reside here in Effingham and have a deep love for the county. Shawn and I are the proud owners of Southern Sunshine, LLC and we specialize in bead crafting and tumbler making. My mama, Michelle King, is my right hand in the business and
helps with everything under the sun. We make beaded pens, wristlets, make make-up brushes, bottle stoppers and so much more. If you can think it up, we can probably bead it up for you. We now offer tumblers and sublimated items this year since our recent expansion. We also have a very budget-friendly section so that there is a price point for everyone. I can’t wait to meet you in person and see you at meetings and events.
Leighann is a working mother of a very talented daughter, wife of a veteran & hard working husband. As a working mother she assistes & supports her daughter in her business, Taylor’s Tailored Jewelry. Leighann acts as the CFO & does marketing for Taylor's Tailored Jewelry. Leighann has worked in many different professions over the years & is passionate about her family to include the family pets. In this year as an officer of EWIB she hopes with her co-director & daughter to bring new ideas & new insights.
